I provide nutritious, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, all prepared with food hygiene and safety in mind. Meals include fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins, ensuring that children receive the energy and nutrients they need to thrive.
I will always try to accommodate dietary needs and allergies, with parents informing me of any special requirements in advance. My Healthy Eating and Food Hygiene Policy is followed closely to ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served in line with health guidelines. Here are a selection of the meals we offer. We encourage the children to help themselves and feed themselves
Breakfast
Porridge, Multi grain cereal, Toast, waffles , brioche, croissant, pancakes, French toast
Milk, water
Lunch
Pizza pockets, scrambled eggs, beans/ spaghetti on toast, sandwiches, soup , pitta bread & hummus with carrot sticks, cucumber, cheese and ham toasties/ paninis
Dinner
Chicken, rice & peas
Jacket potato, cheese, beans, tuna sweetcorn mayo.
Chicken Roast, roast potato, peas, cauliflower, green beans, Yorkshire puddings.
Tomato pasta bake
Carbonara with sweetcorn and courgettes.
Spaghetti Bolognese.
Slow cooked casseroles/stew.
Shepherd's pie
